Hello all : )

Wow...it's been a long long time since my last entry. College sophomore now. Scary. I was reading through several of my past entries and the comments I received - some of them dating back to 2005! Where have the years gone? I hope all is well : )

I need answers.

Hey everybody!

I'm in Colorado listening to the rain and some serious thunder. There is something magical about it all. The mountains...the rain...it just feels right. I've decided I need a profession that lets me express myself! Someway...somehow I've got to let it out!! I think acting would be great because its all written out for you. Your job is to simply put the emotion into it and live the part! Granted they do have long hours and take after take I'm sure...but I think it would be worth it. Plus one movie you could be a doctor...the next you could be swimming with dolphins or hiking in the mountains. You get to live someone else's life for awhile! I think it's important to walk in someone's else shoes to get a different view and build character. I'm sure it wouldn't get boring, the problem is..you make it...or you live in a box. Oh well I'm sure God has a calling for me and right now I'm not going to worry about it. Right now I'm going to worry about the "hurricane" blowing outside..yikes! Well have a good one dudes and dudettes!

This is Jenna Rhodes reporting from the Rockies. Over and out.

WE DID IT!!!!! WE CAME BACK THROUGH THE LOSERS BRACKET AND WON!!!! It took us 4 games in a row, but we did it. About 4 huge water bottles, 3 wet towels, 2 smelly socks, and 1 broken cleat later, Lindsey and I poured the cooler full of ice and water down Coach Bob's back. I'm so proud of our team for the victory!!! YESSSS!!! It took that one game to slap us in the face and wake us up. You can believe we wanted that championship more than anything after losing and we got it. Its not the medal thats important though, its the memories along the way. The great hits, striking people out, and ooohh the LAUGHS! After the games we went  to the lake for a refreshing dip and oh boy was that wonderful!!! The perfect end to a perfect day~

There comes a time in your life when something seems impossible. Confidence hides itself in the shadows and all you want to do is cry. You have a choice to make, the decision is yours. Now you could throw down the glove and walk off the mound, say you just can't make it through. Or you could wind up the pitch and let it go. Don't let anyone tell you its over, don't let yourself get down. It's times like these when you have to dig down deep, search into your heart. There's a key to unlocking what you know you can do and I think you know what it is. Believe in yourself and your abilities, don't settle for anything less. Someone up there's watching you and he wants you to do your best. Cuz if you believe in yourself that feeling inside will tell you everythings ok and your confidence will show its face. Its easier said than done, but you might as well give it a try. The moment we get lost in fear is the moment we make a mistake. Its ok to be afraid, but its a heck of a lot funner, yes I said funner, when you break the barrier and win.

We just lost our softball game, but you bet we'll be back. I lost my confidence in my pitching ever since I changed it in the middle of the season and its been a difficult ride. But I'm trying my best and thats all I can do - that and believing. I need to take my own advice and maybe just maybe I can come back and pitch the best game of my life.

Have a good one~
